Sales & Operations Manager

The successful applicant will be and management of customer hire contracts, with responsibilities including:

• Overseeing the sales process and delivery of hire contracts.
• Coordinating and managing field-based and office personnel.
• Delivering consistently high standards of customer service.
• Managing and implementing maintenance procedures for the hire fleet.
• Monitoring and controlling stock movements.
• Reviewing and improving operational processes, introducing new systems where appropriate.
• Identifying and pursuing commercial opportunities to support business growth.

As the role develops, there will be the opportunity to take on wider business development, organisational, and strategic responsibilities, with remuneration evolving to reflect this growth.

We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate:

• At least 8 years’ experience in contract management and implementation.
• Have management experience in Plant Hire, Construction, or Civil Engineering sectors.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• IT fluency, including MS Office, Outlook, and CRM systems.
• Mechanical experience advantageous.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• A practical, problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and customer-focused attitude.
• Ambition to progress into a broader management role and contribute to the company’s long-term success.
