Empire Recruitment is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Purchasing & Administration Coordinator on behalf of our client in the animal health and agriculture sector. This role is integral to ensuring efficient supplier management, accurate stock control, and smooth administrative operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Supplier & Pricing Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Meet with suppliers to review pricing and product availability.
Regularly verify and update pricing information.
Set up new products in the internal system.
Create and maintain in-feed medication codes and other relevant product codes.
Invoicing & Customer Accounts
Process customer invoices, credit notes, and statements.
Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally.
Manage and monitor rebate processes.
Stock Control
Conduct and reconcile monthly stock counts.
Ensure invoice and delivery docket matching is accurate.
Complete monthly accruals to support financial reporting.
Administration & Order Processing
Process orders through internal systems accurately and on time.
Maintain organised filing systems and carry out general administrative tasks.
Answer inbound calls and provide high-quality customer support.
Process email orders with precision and efficiency.
Requirements
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong IT literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Previous experience in a veterinary practice or knowledge of animal health/immunisation would be advantageous.
Package
Pay: €34,000-€38,000 per year
