Our Client

We are currently seeking an experienced Rigid Driver to join our client's business in Enniscorthy. As a Rigid Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods within designated routes. Your attention to detail and excellent English communication skills will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities

Safely operate a rigid vehicle in accordance with all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
Transport goods to various destinations efficiently and on schedule.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any issues or damages.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details.
Communicate effectively with customers and internal staff to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues or concerns.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and quality control.
Assist with general warehouse duties, as needed.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Rigid Driver.
Possess a valid driver's license with the appropriate category for rigid vehicles.
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all documentation and delivery processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines.
Physical fitness to perform loading and unloading duties.
Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures.
Good customer service skills and the ability to represent the company professionally.
