Our Client, Irelands premier furniture provide is seeking a reliable and experienced C Licence Rigid Driver to join their team for nationwide furniture delivery and assembly. The successful candidate will work alongside a Delivery and Installation Assistant, ensuring efficient and professional service to both commercial and residential premises.
The position is based in South Dublin and shifts are typically between 06:00 - 15:00.
Roles & Responsibilities
Furniture Delivery: Deliver a wide range of furniture items to various locations across the country, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
Furniture Assembly: Assemble furniture on-site as required, ensuring all items are set up correctly and securely.
Multidrop Deliveries: Perform high volume, multidrop deliveries efficiently, maintaining a tight schedule and adhering to delivery windows.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing any queries or concerns customers may have during the delivery and assembly process.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working order, reporting any issues promptly.
Documentation: Complete all necessary delivery documentation accurately, ensuring all records are up to date.
Requirements
Valid C Licence: Must hold a valid C licence for rigid vehicles.
Valid CPCs & Digital Tachograph: Must hold all relevant driver compliance cards.
Experience: Previous experience in a similar delivery and assembly role is highly desirable.
Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to handle and assemble heavy furniture items.
Customer Service Skills: Effective communication and customer service skills are essential.
Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Flexibility: Willingness to cover weekends occasionally as required by the business.
Package
Competitive salary ranging from €30,000 to €36,000 per annum.
Daily tax-free subsistence allowance.
