Artic Driver

Job Description:

As a Professional CE Licence Artic Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across Ireland, the UK, and the continent. This role requires extensive driving experience, strong adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to maintain high standards of professionalism while living in the truck for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate articulated vehicles in compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
• Safely load, transport, and unload goods according to delivery schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
• Adhere to driving hours regulations and maintain accurate records of working hours and rest periods.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and colleagues to coordinate deliveries.
• Demonstrate proficiency in navigating routes and adapting to changing road and weather conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the truck cabin and cargo area.
• Uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.

• Valid CE (Class 1) driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Professional Driver Certificate of Competence (CPC).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an articulated truck driver.
• Familiarity with tachograph regulations and digital tachograph operation.
• Strong understanding of road safety practices and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and spend extended periods living in the truck.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe up to 5 days per week.
