• Manage costs on projects working closely with Contract Managers, Site Management and Accounts teams
• Liaising and negotiation with client’s Quantity Surveyors and representatives
• Take off measurement for site materials
• Remeasurement of sub-contractors including Payments and Final Accounts.
• Good record keeping for reference points on subsequent related projects.
• Preparation & submission of monthly valuations
• Preparation & submission of compensation events/ variations
• Experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Proficient in using Microsoft office suites and other construction software
• Strong technical, negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• A proactive and organised approach with ability to work to strict deadlines within a fast and dynamic environment.
• Excellent commercial acumen and interpersonal skills.
• Preferably have a Degree in Quantity Surveying or another Construction related speciality.
£60,000-£70,000 + Benefits Package
