Our Client

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, they are seeking to recruit a reliable and organised Office Administrator to join their busy office. This is a full-time, on-site role offering a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the office
  • Handling customer queries in a professional and efficient manner
  • Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
  • Assisting customers during busy periods
  • Maintaining and updating client records and databases
  • Assisting with balancing accounts and sales records multiple times per week
  • Managing queries relating to restricted or regulated sales
  • Liaising with relevant authorities regarding permits and compliance
  • Sending sales and compliance information to relevant departments
  • Coordinating call-outs and follow-ups as required
  • General administrative duties including filing, emails, and phone calls
  • Maintaining a clean, organised office environment
  • Managing office supplies and stationery

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience working in a regulated or compliance-based environment

Package

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (1 Hour lunch Break) 35 Hours per week

Salary €29,000 - €30,000

• Daily Transport Planning: Create and manage delivery schedules for both container and trailer loads from Dublin Port, Cork, Shannon Foynes, and other ports nationwide.

• Fleet Management: Coordinate and optimise the utilisation of up to 70 trucks daily, ensuring maximum efficiency and adherence to delivery windows.
