Empire Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer of heavy machinery with a reputation for quality, innovation, and staff development. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Welder to join their highly skilled production team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the manufacture of large-scale machinery while working in an environment that prioritises health and safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities
Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to determine measurements and welding requirements.
Carry out welding tasks to a high standard, ensuring strong, precise, and durable joins on heavy machinery components.
Inspect and test welds, cuts, and joints using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Work to production targets, maintaining efficiency and accuracy without compromising on safety or quality.
Handle and move production parts safely and efficiently, using the appropriate equipment.
Ensure strict adherence to all Health & Safety guidelines and company procedures.
Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to identify and implement process improvements as part of a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
Proven industrial welding experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
Organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage workloads effectively.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to work independently and take initiative when required.
A strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.

€18 - €20 per hour DOE
