Our Client

Our client is a long-established international leader in the ceramic wall and floor tile industry, recognised globally for innovation, design excellence and premium product quality.

Due to continued growth and expansion within the Irish market, Empire Recruitment is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Sales Consultant on behalf of our client.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to develop new client relationships and projects across Ireland while becoming part of a progressive and forward-thinking international business.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

  • Representing the company throughout Ireland, including Northern Ireland
  • Building strong relationships with existing clients while proactively developing new business opportunities
  • Delivering knowledgeable, friendly and high-quality customer service
  • Managing projects through all stages including:
  • Initial client engagement
  • Product placement and merchandising
  • Product training
  • Client follow-up and relationship management
  • Order processing
  • Attending annual industry events and trade shows as required
  • Working closely with the wider team to communicate local market requirements and support efficient supply management
  • Travelling throughout Ireland, with approximately 100 nights away per calendar year

Training & Development

The successful candidate will participate in a two-week training programme at the company headquarters in Spain, gaining in-depth knowledge across:

  • Manufacturing and production processes
  • Raw materials and finished products
  • Marketing and promotional strategies
  • IT systems
  • Sales operations

Requirements

  • A motivated and self-starting attitude with a high degree of IT proficiency
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A Diploma or Degree in a relevant field (Business, Architectural, Interior Design, Construction, etc.) or experience in a similar industry role
  • Experience in customer service and/or a client-facing role
  • A resourceful and optimistic approach, with strong attention to detail
  • A passion for design and an appreciation for high-quality interior products
  • A hands-on attitude and willingness to embrace all aspects of project development
