We are currently recruiting a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver for a well-established client based in the Cavan area. This is a full-time, hands-on role involving the delivery of kitchens, wardrobes, appliances, and related materials to private homes and construction sites, on a 7.5 ton rigid truck.
Roles & Responsibilities
Safely deliver products to both residential and commercial locations
Load and unload kitchen units and associated goods
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and site personnel
Read and understand delivery dockets and basic site drawings
Maintain a clean, organised, and roadworthy delivery vehicle
Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Occasional early starts depending on delivery routes
Requirements
Valid C1 (lorry) driving licence – essential
Manual Handling Certificate – required (training can be provided)
Safe Pass – required (training can be provided)
Forklift Licence – preferred (training can be provided)
Good level of spoken and written English
Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
Strong communication and customer service skills
Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
