Junior Estimator -Galway

We are recruiting for a Junior Estimator for our client in the Galway area.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

· Assist the senior estimation team with daily tasks, providing input for all programme, cost and commercial decisions

· Assist with the preparation of monthly internal valuations and monthly cost reports

· Report on budgets and variations

· Maintain subcontractor and supplier contractual details

· Liaise with suppliers, send enquiries and collate quotes for various packages

· Analyse package quotes and identify cost opportunity

· Aid with cost and commercial finalisation

Education & Skills Required:

· A 3rd level degree in Quantity Surveying or an electrical trade is preferred

· The successful candidate must have a willingness to attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills

· Strong IT skills are required
