Main Purpose of the Role:
In the role as IMS Coordinator [Quality] you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating, supporting and advising the business on all aspects with regards to quality. To establish, manage and monitor ISO standards, legal and other compliance, internal processes, communications and systems to ensure all responsibilities and requirements associated with management systems are adhered to.
To manage training requirements including identifying training needs based on business requirements, reducing skills gaps and, promoting the growth of all employees across the business’s, assisting individual employees in the maintenance and enhancement of their ideal employee profile and preparation for promotions or roles that demand greater skills, designing, scheduling and executing training programs using best available techniques, monitoring and evaluating training to ensure continual improvement.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Policies, Protocols & Procedures
· Comprehensive understanding of Company Quality management systems:
o Actively encouraging participation and promotion of the company culture
o Reporting, associated investigation and recommendation/ implementation of corrective actions.
o Identify and react appropriately to a hazardous situation
o Managing the internal and external confirmation audit processes
· Developing, implementing and maintaining policies and operational initiatives in your sphere of responsibility and actively work to continually improve and promote the management system.
· Ensure that activities are planned and designed to support the organisation's strategic vision and mission which drives and supports company programmes
· Identify person(s), authorised by an appropriate level of management, to work with in support of management system activities
· Define and communicate responsibilities and authorities for such persons in order in support of quality management initiatives
· Determine criteria and methods needed to ensure that the operation and control of the management system are effective
· Manage, conduct and maintain the agreed process for limiting business risks
· Manage and maintain policies, procedures, controlled documents and records
· Co-ordinate the development of the management system program whilst collaborating with the management team to ensure agreement, appropriate participation and support
· Manage internal confirmation audits and external management system audits
Quality
Effective understanding of Quality requirements:
product quality critical characteristics and standards,
In-process and Final product specifications
Offer and support suggestions to changes in production methods/equipment used for improvements to the quality of the product and/or service to customer
Managing risks and opportunities that can affect conformity of products and services
Performance
· Work with Management to develop analysis techniques and tools to aid management to evaluate performance.
· Co-ordinate and participate in the development of the annual target setting process.
· Ensure that site follows the Standard Reporting Definitions.
· Establish and manage personal and team behaviours which have a positive impact over:
o Quality performanceKMIs, KAIs, KPIs, targets and current performance against these targets
Process Understanding

Training & Development
· Responsible for monitoring personal performance and following a program of personal developmentincluding:

o Involvement in the appraisal process to help identify training personal achievements and further or changing needs

· Provide employees with comprehensive and relevant information and training on company policies and procedures proportionate to their role.
· Develop training programmes using ‘best available techniques’ with consideration to trainees learning styles and abilities.
· Develop training material for the identified competencies & training elements across the full range of identified areas within TED.
· Liaise and encourage all trainers and employees to understand the need for current and correct training records.
· Manage training scheme and records by regular reviews of reports, audits and interviews with staff.
· Recommend and provide further training where necessary.
· Involvement in the development of employees
o Vetting potential candidates for job vacancies
o Making necessary arrangements for the interview process
o Identifying and selecting suitable candidates
o Arrangements for ‘first day’ including inductions, IT set-up, PPE etc.
o Arranging and conducting regular reviews during probation period
o Conducting disciplinaries where performance does not meet standards
o Manage and resolve conflict within the team
· Ensuring performance is achieved and maintained through the training & development of team members
o Reviewing workloads and peoplepower to ensure targets are achieved
o Monitoring team skill sets to ensure all performance requirements are met
o Develop team strengths and improve weaknesses
o Ensuring skills gaps are closed when identified
o Support personal training and development needs
o Coach and mentor team members to achieve performance and developing necessary skills that get results
o Arranging and conducting regular performance reviews with team members
Other Reasonable Duties

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: €35,000.00-€42,000.00 per year
