Lead and Grow the Sales Team
• Manage and expand a team of sales professionals across Ireland and the UK.
• Recruit ,train, and develop high-performing team members in line with commercial growth plans.
• Implement structured KPIs, sales targets, and performance reviews to drive accountability and results.
Direct Client Engagement
• Personally manage key customer relationships, ensuring a strong client focus at all levels.
• Attend high-value client meetings and support team members with major bids and negotiations.
• Identify growth opportunities within strategic accounts and new market sectors.
Performance& KPI Management
• Establish and monitor individua land team KPIs aligned with overall business objectives.
• Track performance metrics across pipeline, conversion rates, customer retention, and profitability.
• Provide regular performance updates to senior management with strategic insights.
Strategic Alignment with Core Services
• Develop and execute a growth plan that aligns with the company’s main product lines:
Key Account Management & Development
• Oversee the Key Accounts team and ensure top-tier service to our client’s most valued customers.
• Implement long-term account plans focused on retention, margin improvement, and upselling.
• Support commercial negotiations and service-level agreements for strategic partners.
.Sales Strategy & Stakeholder Collaboration
• Develop and lead a coherent sales strategy in partnership with internal departments.
• Collaborate closely with directors and senior stakeholders to align on market priorities and customer propositions.
• Represent the commercial function in leadership meetings and planning sessions across the group.
We are seeking a commercially driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment. Ideal candidates will possess:
• 5+years' experience in sales or commercial management within freight, logistics ,or supply chain.
• Strongleadership skills and a proven track record of managing and scalinghigh-performing sales teams.
• Solidknowledge of the Irish, UK & European road freight market, with anunderstanding of air and sea freight solutions.
• Excellent communication,negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
• Strategic mindset with strongbusiness acumen and commercial awareness.
• Willingness to travel between Ireland, UK, and Europe as required.
Basic Salary : €80,000 + Bonuses - OTE 120k+
