Mechanical Design Engineer

•                         Preparation of specs, drawings and technical details for customers

•                         Direction and co-ordination of prototypes manufacture

•                         Liaison with R&D to improve efficiencies

•                         Preparation of instructions and drawings for use on the factory floor

•                         Preparation ,control and updating technical specifications

•                         Working with production to ensure design specifications are achieved

•                         Optimising design to the customer specification

•                         Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

•                         Workingwith design packages, CREO, etc

•                         Preferable experience in a manufacturing environment/manufacturing

•                         Experience with internal standards and quality conformance metrics

•                         Highly proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word

•                         Requirement to both work on-site and to travel for business.

•                         Previous SAP experience preferable
