As the Departmental Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the European Road Freight department. This includes managing a team of professionals, optimising processes, and ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of services. You will work closely with various stakeholders and the head of operations to maintain high standards of operational excellence and contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
- Lead and motivate a team of operations staff, ensuring a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.

- Oversee the planning and execution of transportation services to meet customer requirements.
- Implement and optimise operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Address and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in operations management within the transportation industry of 5 years or more in a managerial position within European Road Freight.

Salary: €65-€75K + DOE per year
