Description
We are recruiting for an experienced HR Administrator for our client in the Monaghan area.
We are looking for an HR Administrative Assistant to cover a Maternity Leave period, the person will be required to perform a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks. You will support the HR Manager and wider Management team. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. If you are passionate about HR policies and procedures and want to help create a nourishing workplace, this position is for you. Ultimately, you will gain HR experience in a fast-paced work environment by supporting and improving all HR functions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in payroll preparation for both weekly and monthly payrolls
- Recruitment Administration
- Liase with Management team in relation to HR issues
- Preparation of paperwork for HR policies and procedures
- Coordinate HR projects, meetings and training seminars
- Manage the department’s telephone center and address queries accordingly
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal communications
- Provide inductions for new employees by sharing onboarding packages and explaining company policies
- Organise onsite hospitality for visitors
- Management and ordering of office supplies
- Arranging and booking travel for management team
- Purchase Order Management for HR & Admin departments
- Planning and organise internal events and awareness days alongside Events Committee #jobsie
Requirements
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Proven work experience as an HR administrative assistant or HR administrator
- Hand on experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS
- PC literacy and experience with MS Office applications
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on own initiative while demonstrating teamwork skills
